Geoff From Marketing: an Autobiography

Hi there,

My name is Geoff, I’m head of marketing at justFDI and I’ll be using this blog to keep you updated on the comings and goings of the justFDI team and all the interesting stuff we get up to. Here is a picture of me at work:

I led a pretty interesting life before I settled here at justFDI. I grew up in Russia during the reign of Tsar Nikolay II and had a good life, keeping mice away from his beard, right up until the outbreak of the First World War, when I fled to England by riding on the back of the various carrier pigeons flying across Europe.

Once in England I settled in Horsell, Surrey where I thwarted the Martian invasion, better known as the War of the Worlds, by rubbing against what I assume was one of the Martian’s noses, thus giving it the allergic reaction that began their downfall. For this I was awarded the golden sardine.

I was a witch’s familiar for a brief period in the sixties, as was the fashion at the time. This had its perks but unfortunately, during a particularly long ritual to unleash the seventeen unholy horsemen of grumpiness and bad breath upon the world, she tripped over part of a goat and smashed the carefully arranged pentagram mid ritual. This meant that some of the horsemen have been trapped in yours truly ever since, which is why you might find that the style of my writing will vary from week to week.

Since then I’ve started a company that makes Catamarans, was one of the original Disney Mouskerteers, and in my spare time I make house music under the pseudonym Deadmau5.

Peace,

Geoff From Marketing
